'the leap years' was, as quoted from the 'movies' section of some newspaper i've seen somewhere, surprisingly good.. it wasnt really draggy, like de typical korean or taiwanese dramas... (unless u consider the long stretch of 4 leap years as draggy) soundtrack was oso quite nice... (ok, bias sensed here, coz the songs are mostly by corrinne may =x ) and more surprisingly, there are quite a few humour points in the characters' dialogue...

there are several quotes that were in the movie... for example

and the one i feel that makes most sense to me is:

i wonder if one would juz wait for his/her true love for so long... li-ann waited 12 yrs.. during this time i doubt she dated anyone else, of coz wif de exception of raymond whom she eventually accepted his proposal and ended up running away from de wedding... mayb it's like wad jeremy said at de beginning where ppl cant wait to fall in love coz they are afraid of being alone...

well anyway i juz got news of a new timetable for my duty... which seriously sux... some parts of de timetable i juz dun understand y it's included... bound to cause serious resentments but den, wad can we do? we're juz lowly beings there...

greater the expectations greater the disappointment... so dun expect much... guess living wif no expectation makes life better
