do u take things for granted?
well i tink i do.. perhaps this is the reason why i dun like changes.. whenever i settle into an environment, i take the things there for granted, so when i'm forced to change, i dislike it becoz that would mean the things i have taken granted for will no longer be available to me...
humans are juz like that... they nvr notice the things they take for granted.. it's only when these things are going to become unavailable to them they will realise the importance of these things and start to regret why they didnt cherish them in the past... i'm like that.. i take a lot of stuff for granted, things which i feel are insignificant, which i have always felt that they will always be around for me or available for me... now that i'm likely to lose these things, i start to value them only now and cherish my time spent with them...
have you moved house b4?
well i nvr.. have been living here for almost 20 yrs, ever since i'm born... this is quite a familiar place for me, although i'm not really an outgoing person, and i always stay at home most of the time, i noe this place quite well.. here is one of de more accessible place i've known.. i noe a lot of places are quite difficult to get there, so my frens living there often haf a tough time going home after going out... but this place is like so accessible... go town can take NEL back... from amk mrt outside the bus stop i got like 5 buses to get home? it seems like my house is surrounded by bus stops that can get me anywhere near here... of coz anywhere doesnt include areas in the west la... imagine taking a bus from here to jurong =/ that will take like ages... so if i were to move house one day, i duno if my new home is as accessible as here anot...
are your parents living well together?
ppl often say, when a couple divorces, it's often the children that get hurt the most, more than the parents... but do they mean young children? or children of all ages? we have watched tons of divorce scenes on tv dramas, where the children are always young ones... the dramas always show the kids getting hurt but they nvr show cases whereby the children are teenagers or adults when the parents are planning divorce... why? because when the children are teenagers or adults they can handle it better? the impact will be lesser? well, i hafta agree n disagreee on this... i agree coz children who are teenagers or adults will think more than young children... they will more likely think abt the future, because their lives will definitely be different from the current ones they have and so they will have their concerns abt the future... however, i disagree because for cases where the divorce is only becoz the parents cant get along well, while the children get along well wif both parents, they will be stuck becoz splitting up would mean that they hafta choose one side to go wif... of coz this doesnt apply to adult children who are able to support themselves n so they may decide to go out n live alone, so they dun hafta choose any side...
when a couple divorces, they start to gather their assets.. of coz stuff like money, house etc can be split easily, simply becoz they are non-living things... wad abt their living assets, ie children? these assets have their own thinkings and so to gain these 'assets', parents often start their own 'campaign', to promote themselves... they present the current situation to the children, but the two stories abt the same matter will always be opposite... each will definitely paint a better picture of himself/herself and only present the bad points of the other... it seems like children is a tough job to be, rite?
feel like getting a mp3 player recently... always felt i dun need it anyway, since i can always listen to my fav songs on my com... but suddenly feel that mayb it's good to store my fav songs in sth i can carry around, so in case i lose my com somehow, for eg it blows up suddenly =X, i can still listen to my fav songs on my mp3 player... but den again, i tink it's not possible i'll get one, coz i'm real lazy to buy stuff... have always tot of getting a new wallet since dec last year, but fast forward 2 months to now, i'm still using my old one! =X lolol, lazy lazy me...
PS: falling in love wif SHE once again... been listening to their songs this couple of days, especially the solo song sang by Ella during their concert, ai hen jian dan 爱很简单.. although this song is originally sang by tao ze, but i feel Ella's version is better.. lol.. biased view...
